Long Dog Farm located in Colton, Oregon came to be in 2019 after our youngest son turned one. When we no longer had a bitty baby this momma needed someone small to love on forever- and Marlo was welcomed to the family! The love was instant, Long Hair Mini Dachshunds have been a love of mine long before this, but our sweet girl sealed the deal. We take our responsibilities very seriously and strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of all our pets. All of our dogs are genetically health tested (Embark) and vetted prior to breeding, all litters are AKC registered. All puppies born here are born in our home, will visit the vet for their appropriate shots and worm treatment, and be socialized and loved on by the whole family.
Marlo
Marlo is our foundational female here at Long Dog Farm. She is a beautiful long hair black and cream dapple, also carries for piebald. She weighs 11lbs. Full health panel completed through Embark, PRA clear.
Darla
Darla is our future Dam, she was born from our first litter born on the farm, and actually the first pup we ever delivered! Darla is an AKC shaded cream, PRA clear by percentage, and will have a full panel health and genetic test done prior to her breeding. We expect her to be ready 2022.
Maverick
Maverick is a gorgeous long hair ee cream, he’s got a beautiful build, long ears, and smooth top line. He has the most mellow, happy go lucky demeanor about him as well. His Embark DNA testing is underway.
